When addressing anxiety and depression, I focus on the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors through a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). ACT invites you to clarify what truly matters to you, cultivate mindfulness, and take steps aligned with your values. DBT offers practical skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and building meaningful connections. Together, these approaches foster self-compassion, resilience, and a grounded sense of balance in your life.
 

EMDR therapy allows individuals to uncover the roots of distorted beliefs and reframe how they see themselves and the world. This evidence-based approach is particularly effective for processing past traumas that continue to influence your present emotional well-being. Over time, EMDR can help you build healthier perspectives and achieve the fulfilling life you deserve.

With over a decade of experience in psychotherapy across various settings, including acute crisis management, child welfare, and addictions, I focus on helping individuals with chronic anxiety and depression rooted in past trauma. I also have extensive experience working with diverse clients, including LGBTQIA+ individuals. Former clients have described my therapeutic approach as compassionate, humorous, empowering, and genuine.
